Dance Victoria

The legendary Ballet Nacional de Cuba makes its Western Canada premiere in Victoria. Founded in 1948 by Prima Ballerina Assoluta Alicia Alonso, the Nacional, with flawless ballet technique and Latin passion, are one of Cuba's chief cultural ambassadors. This evening of mixed repertoire features 25 principal dancers and soloists, in a program selected by Alonso herself, to showcase the talents of her formidable group.
