Rough Cuts

Since 2007, Dance Victoria has introduced the public to exciting new works in development by its resident artists and Chrystal Dance Prize winners. Free and informal, performed under work lights and without costumes, audiences watch works-in-progress followed by meaningful facilitated discussions with the artists, ultimately contributing to the continued development of the artists’ vision.

Showcased here are recent curated Dance Days Rough Cuts, that were presented during Dance Victoria’s annual Dance Days festival in January, when some resident artists had the opportunity to add technical elements to their Rough Cut showing for the Dance Days audiences.
