When San Francisco's LINES Ballet performed in Victoria in 2008, the Times Colonist wrote, "There is genius evident in the choreography of Alonzo King." They return this season with two new works that once again showcase the grace and elegance, fire and commitment of the nine exquisite dancers. King leads his company into the future of contemporary ballet, creating small gems with great attention to detail: each piece is finely honed and polished.
