For 27 years, Dance Victoria has served the Greater Victoria region. As the largest dance presenter in Western Canada, we bring diverse Canadian and international companies to the Royal Theatre; support local artists with residencies, free studio space, and performance opportunities; and provide access to live performance for low-income families, young people, new Canadians, and survivors of gender-based violence through our Dance Is For Everyone, Nutcracker Kids, and Pay Your Age programs. Dance Victoria’s mission is to promote the appreciation of dance by developing and presenting diverse and inclusive local, Canadian, and international artists while engaging the community in the celebration of dance. We invite you to consider the impact your gift could make on the lives of others by thinking now about a gift in your will (bequest) or other planned giving including the donation of securities, insurance, or other future gifts.
All donations $10 or greater receive:
- Acknowledgement in Dance Victoria’s annual house program
- A charitable tax receipt in accordance with the Canada Revenue Agency
- Automatic enrollment as a member of Dance Victoria Society, eligible to vote at its Annual General Meeting.
